How Do Our Adventures Run?

Stories, they can be happy or sad, they can inspire us and encourage us. The situations and challenges the characters of these stories go through can often in many ways feel relatable to our own challenges. Here at Avalone Adventures our adventures are designed to immerse you as a part of a story. Sure, we don’t live in a medieval fantasy, but the memories and challenges you face and how you choose to face them during your adventure can in a very real way be used as inspiration and encouragement that you carry with you into your everyday life.

Our adventures revolve around the rough structure of a story, that said, if you choose to join us on our adventure you will still have a lot of free-will within this story. Every story has its protagonists, and we are no exception. Once we have people signed up for an adventure we will select a few of them to be main protagonists to the story. They will be given a backstory as to what brought them to this point but beyond that, they will choose how they want to interact with the world around them and ultimately how the story will unfold.

Now don’t fret if you are not one of these main characters, you still will be a character within this story. You will be given one or many roles with their own smaller backstories coupled with objectives, incentives, and motivations that will direct how you interact with the protagonists or other characters of the story. You are not like a computerized NPC however, you have free-will to apply your backstory and accomplish you objectives, incentives, and motivations in they way that you choose. Many of our people from our past adventure even said that they preferred the fun and freedom they had as side characters over the uncertainty of being a main protagonist.

Regardless of where you are coming from my fellow friends, hikers, nerds, and athletes. we are excited to have you join us for our upcoming adventures! To see our upcoming adventures check our Events page. If you have any further questions see our Contact Us page. See you on the trail!
